Tizpa 2mg Tablet may be unsafe to use during pregnancy.Animal studies have shown adverse effects on the foetus, however, there are limited human studies. The benefits from use in pregnant women may be acceptable despite the risk. Please consult your doctor.

Tizpa 2mg Tablet is probably unsafe to use during lactation. Limited human data suggest that the drug could represent a significant risk to the baby.
Tizpa 2mg Tablet may make you feel dizzy, sleepy, tired, or decrease alertness. If this happens, do not drive.

Tizpa 2mg Tablet should be used with caution in patients with kidney disease. Dose adjustment of Tizpa 2mg Tablet may be needed. Please consult your doctor.

Uses of Tizpa Tablet
Tizpa 2mg Tablet is used for muscle relaxationIt treats muscle spasms which may occur in diseases affecting the nervous system, such as cerebral palsy, multiple sclerosis, motor neuron disease, or due to a disease or injury of head, brain, or spine.
How to use Tizpa Tablet
Take this medicine in the dose and duration as advised by your doctor. Swallow it as a whole. Do not chew, crush or break it. Tizpa 2mg Tablet may be taken with or without food, but it is better to take it at a fixed time.
How Tizpa Tablet works
Tizpa 2mg Tablet is a muscle relaxant. It works on the centres in the brain and spinal cord to relieve muscle stiffness or spasm without reduction in strength. This improves pain and movement of muscles.

Tizpa can increase the effects of other CNS depressants (alcohol, barbiturates) medicine. Avoid consuming alcohol when taking the Tizpa, as it may cause excessive drowsiness and calmness. Inform your doctor if you have ever been diagnosed with kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you are pregnant or planning to conceive or breastfeeding.
